One Sincere Word for South Korea

Use web-version AI for light thinking and hobbies. For core company work, check the data policies of CLI/API-based tools first. Don't compare AI performance alone — read the data policy too.

I leave one sincere word for South Korea.

Use web-version AI for light idea-sorting and hobbies,

and for core company work or important development, check the policies of CLI/API-based tools before you use them.

Please.

The reason is simple.

Even within the same AI company,

the web service and the API/CLI/enterprise products can differ in how data is processed, how long it's retained, and whether it's used for model training.

At work especially,

customer personal data,

internal company documents,

source code,

contract details,

sales data —

these are what goes in.

Do not think, “it's the same AI anyway, so it must be the same.”

And CLI does not automatically mean safe, either.

What matters is not the interface

but checking where your data is sent, how long it is stored, and what it is used for.

Don't compare AI performance alone —

you must read the data policy alongside it.

For anyone who means to use AI properly from now on,

this too will be basic digital literacy.

I honestly assumed everyone already knew this and used AI accordingly.

They didn't…
