Being Thanked While Being Paid

Building a demo fast and actually solving a customer's problem are different things. Hearing “this made my life easier — 500% satisfied” from customers who are paying real money: that is a blessing.

Building a demo fast

and actually solving a customer's problem are two different things.

On Threads and similar feeds these days,

posts like “I built it in days with AI” and “anyone can develop now” are everywhere.

They're not wrong.

Thanks to AI, the raw speed of building things really has increased.

Someone who can use AI well can implement ideas at a speed that was hard to imagine before.

But I think one distinction has to be kept.

Development getting faster does not automatically make listening to and understanding a customer's problem faster.

To truly solve a real customer's problem,

it isn't build-once, deliver, done —

you watch how the customer actually uses it,

listen for where they struggle,

discover requirements that weren't visible at first,

and revise and improve again.

That's why, for a proper B2B product,

a process of continuous communication and co-development with the customer — sometimes over a month or two, or longer — is often essential.

In the end, our process itself is no different,

but we are far faster and more precise, our prices are lower,

later revisions and customer feedback land quickly,

and above all, customer satisfaction is at its highest.

The reason our prices are low is that our productivity is higher.

Compared with conventional development shops, our fixed costs are drastically smaller,

and our productivity — our speed — is on another scale entirely,

which, I think, is what makes these prices possible.

And in the end, one of the most important metrics is this.

“So — does that customer buy again?”

“Do they keep subscribing and using it?”

Building a demo fast

and actually solving a customer's problem are two different things.

We, too, keep talking with our customers and improving the product by watching real usage.

And we confirm the results through repurchases and continued use.

And when, again and again, customers say —

“This made my life easier.”

“I'm 500% satisfied.”

— while paying real money,

hearing those words is overwhelmingly rewarding.

In the AI era, I think two abilities will both matter.

The ability to build fast.

And the ability to understand precisely what should be built.

Real competitiveness comes when you hold both at once.
