The Pebble Manifesto
The philosophy of Ma-eum Company. I may be a jagged stone — but I am someone becoming a pebble, polishing myself so that I keep my warmth even in my sharpness and never wound others when we collide.
The Pebble Manifesto
I may be a jagged stone.
But I am someone who is becoming a pebble.
Even within my sharpness,
I try not to lose my warmth,
and so that I do not wound others when we collide,
I resolve to keep polishing myself.
I may be a jagged stone.
But I will not hide those edges;
I will smooth them down together with others.
At times I learn by being shaken.
Heart over words,
for I believe in sincerity over technology.
I want to be not a stone set into an already-built fortress wall,
but a stone that makes the road together.
The world I want to build is this:
Rather than changing people,
I want to change the current.
And within it,
I dream of a world where each person grows to their own rhythm.
In this process, I believe AI is both a mirror and a guide.
And so I design not technology,
but the inner resonance between one person and another.
Power, I believe, must move from control to design,
and order, from surveillance
to resonance.
And so I will become a pebble.
I am someone who grows softer as I am polished,
who holds a wider heart by remembering my wounds,
and who, by embracing every jagged side — my own included,
prepares to flow together with more people.
That is the kind of person I am.
